Dance

We have a number of dance groups in operation in the school at any point in time which spring out of our Dance programme. Students are keen to form groups to perform in a range of genre but Hip Hop is popular.

Stage Challenge is an inter-school performance competition held annually in which a large group of students are required to prepare and perform for 8 minutes to a theme. This involves a mixture of dance and drama put to music to convey our message.

Drama

Every two years we put together a major production which involves students from all Year Levels. Our 2007 show was “Grease” but the shows will not always be musicals. This is a huge commitment for staff and students alike, but the outcome is always brilliant.

Theatre sports also involves our students in drama for fun. Students have to be able to think fast and creatively when performing and competing against other schools. We do very well at Theatre Sports.
