The Glenfield College Health and Physical Education Department seeks to promote the total well-being of all students through their physical and personal development. We achieve this by providing a broad range of challenging and enjoyable activities, within a safe and positive environment.
We have based these objectives on the needs of the students and the National Curriculum:
1. Develop a knowledge and understanding of skills and attitudes for health and physical development.
2. Develop enhanced motor skills through dynamic movement, and acquire knowledge and understanding of those actions.
3. Develop positive attitudes toward physical education and physical activity.
4. Develop skills and attitudes that enhance their interaction and relationships with others.
