On Friday, March 2nd the Glenfield College Relay For Life...
We will provide students with a base knowledge of tourism destinations around the world, as well as developing the students’ range of communication skills using the tourism industry as a setting.
• Give students knowledge that will enable them to make informed decisions relating to personal travel and tourism-related activities.
• Make students aware of the range of career opportunities that exist within the tourism industry.
• Enable students to develop research skills through accessing information bases within the school, using information technology, and making contacts within the local community.
• Enable students to develop their communication skills: written and verbal, mathematics, and their use of information technology in the context of the tourism industry.
