Yr 13’s Zorb it up in Rotorua
The Year 13 Geography and Tourism students went to Rotorua as part of their study on tourism development in the Rotorua region. As well as investigating the distribution of tourist features they also sampled a few of the tourist attractions of the Rotorua area. The students visited the Rotorua Museum and Information Centre for informative talks. The Te Po experience at Te Puia saw the students experience a Maori concert, Hangi meal as well as seeing the Pohutu Geyser erupting. They also enjoyed the Skyline Gondola and Luge, Rainbow Springs and the Agrodome. The highlight for several students was Zorbing.
